The Story of Suffering for Western Men in the 21st Century

The story of Western men in the 21st century is one of suffering. It begins with a boy raised without father and by mother in a Western culture hostile to masculinity and femininity. The boy develops nice guy syndrome as a coping mechanism seeking external validation and adopting nice guy behaviors to avoid abandonment and disapproval from the people that he is dependent on. Nice guy syndrome leads to suffering from the male in each aspect oflife since it does not lead to satisfying his own needs(No More Mr. Nice Guy, Glover). The nice guy possesses no options in their lovelife, education-wise, or career-wise and is characterized by a scarcity-mindest.

In male/female interactions, the man with nice guy syndrome develops 'oneitis' for women he has not even slept with and tries to force an Eastern exclusivity model of dating onto Western women that have a Western model of dating characterized as opportunistic social bonds and 'trading up'. This turns her off and pushes her away further since she is simply looking for unattached sex.

The nice guy becomes an 'orbiter' of the Western woman who sees him as simply a way to validate herself emotionally & financially. The girl in this situation has ubiquitous validation from orbiter beta males and her Western female friends. She enjoys unattached sex with her alpha rotation all the while.

The girl's model of Western dating is simply opportunistic social bonds with transactional sexual partners to maximize her flexibility to 'trade up' in social status when the

opportunity arises. Commitment is seen as a detriment to this continuously increasing optionality. The woman in the West experiences perfect abundance in her lovelife, education-wise, and career-wise while the male experiences perfect scarcity.
